Bergen Funeral Service was extremely helpful when we encountered a very difficult situation when the first funeral home we worked with didn't have experience with International Funeral Shipping. From the first moment we contacted Bergen, their personnel were incredibly understanding and very willing to do everything that was needed to assist us. Bergen worked with the airline to retrieve the body and properly store it during the delay. Bergen staff also had to make several trips to the airport and hotel to retrieve additional documents for us. The entire time, they were very understanding, extremely professional and efficient. Every request we had, no matter how big or small, was quickly and well completed. While working with them, we found we could completely rely on them. We worked with both Matt and Linda and their kindness and compassion really made this whole difficult time so much easier. Their experience in International Funeral Shipping was also a great asset in making sure we were able to get him home to Portugal. We would not hesitate to recommend Bergen Funeral Services to anyone for their funeral needs.
