Bergen Funeral Service Inc. are known shippers with the airlines we work with. We provide Mortuary Shipping that is comprehensive and complete for any need.The process includes registration with any airlines the funeral home plans to use, as well as an inspection and payment of an inspection fee.
When it comes to National Funeral Shipping, there are different requirements for each airline and country, but there are general requirements that must be completed before the remains can be shipped.
Our known shipper status allows our funeral directors to schedule flights for mortuary shipping whenever necessary. We also receive discounts from airlines, which we provide to the family of the deceased.

Once the body is cremated, the urn must be packed into a wooden box, and with it, the following documents are needed:
The complete name, address and phone number must also be provided of the funeral home that will be receiving the cremated mortuary shipping.
